Downtown Overland Park
The Downtown Overland Park has much more than just the park on offer on your Kansas City travel. It is home to the farmers market, the Clock Tower Series Concerts, and several other events for families in particular. The historic Santa Fe trail is home to the Park. A wide range of entertainment awaits the daily visitors at the park too. Even after a century, the small town flavor and charming past is still retained by the park. What has changed though is the number of shops and the type of businesses. At the eateries, gift galleries, antique shops and specialty shops you can still experience the warmth of personal touch to the business, often with the owners themselves waiting on you. For the visitors as well as the locals, the Overland Park is a favorite destination for local produce, specialty foods, flowers and family entertainment.
Closer to the clock tower you can also pick up gourmet pasta, fresh pies, specialty food and bread from local bakers. The Clock Tower series concerts also run from 10.30 am to 12.30 pm on all days when weather permits.
