Tip 4 - Spread over 200 acres and housing over a 1000 animals the Kansas City Zoo is one of the largest zoos in the country. Its divided into region specific sections with indoor rainforests, tropics, African plains and many more.

Visitors can look forward to plenty of entertainment during their Kansas Missouri travel. Downtown Kansas alone offers a wide range of options from Jazz clubs to some of the top restaurants. For those who are in a mood for enjoyment till day break, the Mutual Musicians Foundation provides lively entertainment through late night jazz sessions during week ends (Friday and Saturday) and the show can go on till 5 a.m.

The Power and Light district is another destination which offers a slew of entertainment and night life options in Kansas City. In the second phase, Kansas Entertainment LLC is planning to expand the gaming space, build a hotel, a convention center, spa, as also a retail district for entertainment. The total project cost is expected to be in the neighborhood of $1,000 million. When completed, this project is sure to add value to tours and travel Kansas City in the years to come.
