Jazz in the Woods - Intro of Kansas City's Largest Free Music Festival for Visitors

When we say Free Music Festival in Kansas City, Jazz in the Woods is hailed as the City's Largest Free Music Festival in Kansas City. The year 2010 is the 21st year of Jazz in the Woods and this year is also the first annual Jazz in the Woods 5K Walk and Run which will be held on June 12 at 7:30am in the Corporate Woods. This Jazz in the Woods performers include Erin Bode, Mingo Fishtrap, Mindi Abair, Matt Marshak, Bobby Watson Quartet Featuring Curtis Lundy, Nick Colionne and Steve Cole and a lot more.

The event is free however; VIP Pavilion tickets are available at $60 or $400 per table and it already includes reserved private seating and a drink for two, Fiorella's Jack Stack buffet, meet and greet with one of the evening's artists, a compilation CD of the 2010 Jazz Wood artists, and big help to your favorite charity.

The Jazz in the Woods festival is held at the Corporate Woods located at 9401 Indian Creek Parkway Overland Park, KS 66210.

Organized by the Overland Park South Rotary Club, Jazz in the Woods music festival is free and is a family event, thus admits children of all ages, as in 2010 there will already be a Kid's Pavilion. The event for 2010 is happening on June 11 and 12 at 6:30 PM to 11:00 PM for the night events. There are plenty of vendors in the event selling foods and beverage, wherein the sales will help charities. No pets and tents are allowed in the event as well as BBQs and all types of cooking device.
