
Major Festival Events in Kansas City: Choose the Right Time to Visit
Kansas City can be one of the worst cities in winter, with temperatures dipping below zero and rains almost every 3 - 4 days. Festivals and outdoor activities usually take a back seat during this time. However, in the mid year months spread across summer and the onset of winter, a large number of events and festivals such as Shakespeare Festival, the Kansas City Zoo events, West 18th Street Fashion Show, Ice cream festival and concerts. One of the biggest attractions for a family vacation, Kansas City is a thrilling experience for families.
The months of April and May begin to make things easier for tourists as the freezing winters slide away. End March is also a good time for photographers and tourists in general, as the most festivals in the downtown area change the city into a colorful scene after the freezing winters.
