Kauffman Stadium Parking Information

As a Major League Baseball stadium, Kauffman Stadium is the home to Kansas City Royals of the American League. Along with Arrowhead Stadium, it is a part of the Truman Sports Complex. Unlike other MLB stadiums, the Kauffman is not just a common boring ballpark. With the water fountains at the bottom, the huge crown scoreboard is marvelous.

Located at 1 Royal Way, Kansas City, the stadium is really unique, full of energy and overall a fabulous place to be. If you are looking to park at Kauffman Stadium, whether for games or just a visit to the ballpark, you have a lot of options.

Kauffman Stadium is submerged in a sea of paved parking. There are sufficient spaces for 19,000 cars and 400 buses, including more than 200 spaces reserved for guests having disabled permits.

These parking facilities are divided into Gold Reserved for officials and VIP guests, Blue Reserved for season ticket holders and general parking for guests who need to park on a game-by-game basis. Any vehicle taking up more than one parking space would be taken as oversized vehicle.

For those Gold Reserved patrons accessing the Complex from the west side of Kauffman, it is better to use the Gold Reserved entrance to Royals Way. It is designed to provide the quickest access to the game.

Bus parking is available at the Lot L at the stadium during game days. Buses should enter the Complex via Gate 1 or Gate 3 off Blue Ridge Cutoff. Then they will be directed to the curbside between Gate E and Gate D where passengers may get off and enter the stadium. Buses will then be parked at the Lot L or directed to leave the Complex through Gate 2.

If you need to leave your vehicle in a parking lot overnight, you must take away your car by 12 noon the next day or 10am on Sundays. For more info and details, make an inquiry by call or by e-mail. The contact No. is 816-504-4040 option 3. Email is ticketservices@royals.com.

All toll gates and roads used to access the stadium will be open on game days to facilitate traffic exiting the Truman Sports Complex. And patrons will be directed out of the complex via roads nearest to their parking lots. Generally speaking, you will be asked to exit the same way as your entering.

What is the drop-off process for disabled customers? Vehicles dropping off a guest should enter the complex via Gate 3 or Gate 4 and indicate to the traffic directors that they need to drop off a guest. The vehicles will be directed to Gate D. Guests should get off at the curb.

Additionally, there are a lot of shuttles available to help transport patrons to the stadium gates, and the stadium personnel present at all gates to assist guests.
