This one-room small business grew up to be the largest producer of Industrial films in the world during the 1950s. Throughout its history Calvin remained a technical innovator and a creative force albeit in the non theatrical film scene.

Calvin had produced over 3000 films most of it of the shorter version during its existence up to 1980. Calvin was also recipient of a number of film festival awards, in fact several hundreds of them.
