This lake is an experience for the novice and experts as it is the best place to fish. This lake is nationally recognized as a top bass fishing lake. During the summer months, the visitors can find the catfish of all sizes trailing at the bottom of the lake looking for food, and also the large bluegill, bass and crappie are in abundance.

The Largemouth is an excellent sporting fish, and is of 5 pounds are abundant. You can also find the small mothball fish located at the lower lake and upper reaches of the main tributaries.
