Grand Palace Theater

The Palace Grand Theatre commenced in a big style in July 1899. If we talk about the structure of the theatre it’s an amalgamation of luxurious European Opera House with a boomtown dance hall.

It was crafted by the Arizona Charlie Meadows, a Wild West showbiz person who slipped into the Dawson City during the Klondike Gold Rush.

Travel to Branson Missouri and find out for yourself that the Grand Palace in Branson displays a variety of shows infused with entertainment, from Wild West shows to opera. By the next few years Dawson City entered into the transition phase from a booming period to a smaller settler’s community.

But after the slow decline in population, the Arizona Charlie Meadows passed the Palace Grand Theatre in 1901 for $17,000, with less than a third of the original cost. After the first bid of the theatre it exchanged hands with a number of bids over the years with hosting the community events as their part as well.
