In the year 1882, Rueben Branson started up with a general store and post office which formally crafted Branson in 1912 with the carving of the Power site Dam on the White River which better known as Lake Taneycomo.
Moving on with the time, in 1894 William Henry Lynch took the Marble Cave and n charged started the show an even charged the visitors for the same.
After him Hugo and Mary Herschend rented the cave in 1950 and started the dance program, square dances in it.
The family equipped the cave with electricity and cement staircases, and then started the inception of the very famous Silver Dollar City, in 1960.
The silver dollar city initially started with five shops and a church, featuring a log cabin with actors performing out the play between the Hatfields and the McCoys.

In the year 1958 the completion of Tble Rock Dam on the White River was made, which crafted the famous Table Rock Lake. In 1959 The Baldknobbers Jamboree started up with their show business in Branson.
