The Science City is itself a part of the re-energized Union Station and should be understood as a museum. At the Science city, visitors will enjoy a series of interactive exhibits that offer hands-on experience aiding learning through the fun way.

The Dino Lab at the Science City has more of the serious stuff than fun. Here, you will come across real scientists working in a real laboratory and their work revolves around dinosaur fossils.

The Science city is not without its share of thrills for the young and the young at heart. Try your hands training yourself to be an astronaut, take a journey through the blood vessel of humans, do some digging for fossils, or even take bicycle ride - just 30 feet off the ground!!

The history of Union Station which is home for the Science city and more is even more interesting. Beginning 1914, the Union Station was among the busiest railroad stations in the region. During the II World War, the Union Station handled millions of passengers. The facility itself was mammoth in size with 850,000 square feet space and 900 rooms.

With the World war long over, and the steam engines having gone out of context, the Union Station was closed down in the 1980s. For more than a decade this bustling station remained idle and neglected, frequently fighting demolition bids. 1999 saw fresh light in the Union Station when it became a completely renovated facility - albeit for a different usage. Today, the Union Station is a city attraction for its heritage architecture, the 95′ ceiling at the Grand Hall and some of the finest restaurants in town.

As in the olden days, you can also catch an Amtrak train at the Union Station when you choose to.
